smartmeterfffaIn recent news, fires caused by smart meters in Saskatchewan have caused SaskPower to start removing the new meters and going back to the old meters. Our BC Energy Minister the Honourable Bill Bennett was quick to get in the media saying that BC has not had any fires related to smart meters. Just recently there have been reports of fires in BC caused by Not-So-smart meters. One fire was in Mission, BC Hydro seems to blame the plate the Smart meter was on and is under further investigation. Read that story here.
